André Rizek says he proposed to Andréia Sadi: ‘It will be in 2025’

Together since 2019, Andréia Sadi and André Rizek are getting married. The SportTV presenter told the news this Wednesday morning (1) and said that the couple intends to throw a “massive party” to celebrate their union. The two are parents to 3-year-old twins Pedro and João.

Rizek said he surprised the journalist with a marriage proposal on New Year’s Eve. The GloboNews journalist said “yes” and now the two will begin preparations for the event, which will take place in 2025. “We needed to get married by our choice – and not because of a damn virus. Throw a wild party, break everything, celebrate our story, Pedro and João. It will be in 2025”, he said.

He showed the recording of the moment of the marriage proposal and joked: “There are witnesses (and even a godmother), but I leave it recorded early in the morning in case she wakes up with ‘calm down, it wasn’t like that, let’s think about it'”, he said.

The journalist also explained why they decided to live together at the beginning of the pandemic: “It was great to date on the air bridge (it started in 2019), each in the city they loved and chose to live in, seeing each other on the weekends. But then it came that and, as soon as they announced the lockdown, I went by car to drop Andréia off in São Paulo. That’s when she said something like ‘I’m not going to be isolated here alone’. Of course we wouldn’t!

Finally, he thanked his partner: “Thank you for these 5 years of strong emotions, Ms. Andréia. I just can’t say that they are the most incredible of my life because the next 5 will be even more. A year of love for all of you.”
