The actress took social media by storm with the look she chose for the awards ceremony. She wore a black dress with a high neck and long sleeves that exposed her back, by designer Olivier Theyskens.
“The victory already exists! The resistance has been enormous in the face of the film industry. ‘I’m Still Here’ by Walter Salles shows the world that we are not playing around in service and the delivery is of quality. Whatever comes from this process is the bridge we have built for generations to come,” she wrote on her Instagram.
Hours before the awards ceremony, Selton celebrated the reach of Brazilian cinema on the international stage and stated that the day will be beautiful.
“I know I’m going to see a lot of people that I admire, that I’m a fan of. This will be our expressive capacity being recognized in the world.”
Walter Salles highlighted in an interview with Sheet It will be difficult for them to receive the trophies, but he said that the squad has ever received the greatest gift.
“It is the return of the Brazilian public to movie theaters to experience this film in a collective way and to reacquaint themselves with a part of Brazil’s history that deserved to be better investigated.”
