In theatrical performance, on a bus, in the new subway of Thessaloniki, aerial, underwater and terrestrial – or completely cinematicwith a staged scenario of a car accident where the supposedly injured man stands up and exclaims “will you marry me?”- marriage proposals have now gone …to another level. To such an extent, in fact, that the scene with the single stone in the champagne seems very ordinary.

The imagination in some cases exceeded all expectations, but not everyone has the ability to think – and even more so to implement such a surprise, nor to create the appropriate atmosphere. This is what a couple from Thessaloniki, Suzana and Alexis, thought, who took action by giving options to the newlyweds. They have created a platform through which they take over the whole scene of a proposal for all tastes and valences, while the related videos on TikTok make an impression and have thousands of views.

“Is this an important moment of ‘will you marry me?’ and for some it is as important as marriage. The long-awaited “yes” is the goal and the legacy of beautiful memories. That’s where we put our stone so that the moment can be written in the history of the couple”, explains Susana Pogosianspeaking to the Athens/Macedonian News Agency, and her husband adds that each marriage proposal is special, but they are full of emotions and unique moments that the couple aims to remember forever.

“The idea to start this business was born out of a personal experience. When it came time to propose to my partner, I was looking for someone who could help me create something special. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anyone and ended up doing something simple, with a few candles and decorative letters. The proposal was made after a boat ride in front of the White Tower. It was a very beautiful moment, but we were left with the question: why not have a service that makes these moments even more special?’ notes Alexis Bousai.

The decision to deal more warmly and professionally was not long in coming. They decided to try it in April 2024 without much knowledge and started by uploading their first creations on social media. With their fresh and original ideas, they attracted interest even from abroad, with their first customer, in fact, being a gentleman from America.

“This gentleman contacted us via social media and informed us that he came with his partner from the United States to spend a week in Thessaloniki. He was an influencer who traveled to different countries and decided that Greece was the ideal place to propose to his girlfriend. We chose to organize the romantic setting next to the Castles, against the background of the wonderful view of the city”, describes Suzana.

Today, Suzana and Alexis design wedding proposals that are perfectly suited to every couple. Some prefer simple and discreet proposals, while others ask for grandiose settings, because as lovers often tell them: “Once in a lifetime we do.” The proposal packages include a photographer, a drone for impressive shots and a violin for live music. It goes without saying that there are versions for all tastes and all tastes: from the simplest video scene with the groom on his knees to … overproduction. As they say, in fact, the number of people who want to have a marriage proposal that is a little more cinematic is increasing. Friends, relatives are recruited and in some cases the marriage proposal ends in a small party when the affirmative answer comes. “This is also the reason we love our work so much, because we feel that we help couples live the perfect marriage proposal, exactly as they have dreamed of it, we rejoice with their joy and it is our goal to break records in “yes, to I’m getting married”, notes Alexis.

“Will you be my wife?” with rose petals in the unfathomable snow

The last marriage proposal they organized took place in Shelly. With the snow creating a beautiful canvas and the atmosphere being full of romance and magic, the video is already a big hit on TikTok. The moment was captured in a unique way, garnering thousands of views and delighting the audience with the beauty of the landscape and more. “Chelsea, fifty centimeters of snow, bitterly cold on the ski slope, and somewhere there the climate warms the feeling… Red rose petals on the white carpet of snow and the groom-to-be, in snowshoes, bends down almost acrobatically to propose to the chosen one of his heart. With the white mountains as a background and the frozen atmosphere filled with love and tears of joy, the proposal becomes a moment that will be hard to forget: A fairy tale written on the slopes of the snowy Selio”, describes Alexis.

As for the creator of marriage proposals himself, answering what he would organize if he proposed to his wife today, who has the experience and has made dozens of proposals for others, he replied: “I would choose an experience full of action and romance. I would arrange a helicopter ride over Thessaloniki, without her suspecting anything. On the landing, in a specially decorated location, bright “Marry Me” letters, candles and rose petals would create the perfect setting. With the helicopter waiting behind us, I’d get down on one knee for the big question.” “And of course I would say YES again,” adds the wife, listening to her lover’s idea.
