Today, Wednesday, January 29th, at 14.45, “Where there is Greece”, Elabia Revi and George Kourdis travel and come out live from Florina. The city that Theodoros Angelopoulos loved and chose it for the shooting of four of his films.

The artist George Koftis was inspired by the work of the great director and talks to us about the special frescoes he created, while in the iconic “International” café, Mr. George remembers moments with the director and his filming.

Many of the villages of the prefecture of Florina are becoming more and more deserted. Why does such a beautiful place hold on to young people and what can be done in order to reverse this trend? People in the place and experts share their thoughts with us.

The “Arcturos” organization in Nymphaeum works tirelessly to protect wildlife. He was born 33 years ago to solve the problem of captive wildlife. Its people talk to us about the brutal habit of the dancing bear, which was fortunately abandoned, and we also learn how to protect bears, wolves, lumps and jackals.

A tavern in the dark has upgraded cooking, and let’s make food based on old traditional recipes. We learn the story of the family business from the two brothers’ owners, who suggest everyone to stay in their places, in order to have life.

Florina’s local musicians travel the song everywhere, while her pepper, in every form of Friday, takes off the taste wherever she is served.
