The judge of the case of defamation and sexual harassment involving the stars of Hollywood Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, scolded, on Monday, the parties for turning the action into a media show.
Blake and Reynolds are the target of a process of defamation filed by Baldoni, director and castor’s castmate in the movie “This is how it ends.” He asks $ 400 million ($ 2.3 billion), after Blake sued him last December for sexual harassment and defamation.
The lawyers of the parties met on Monday (3) at the Federal Court of the Southern District of Manhattan, coinciding with the publication by Baldoni of a series of documents and emails on a website, which bothered the instruction judge Lewis Liman , for whom this act violates judicial proceedings, according to the American press.
The judge threatened to anticipate the date of the trial, scheduled for March 2026, if the parties continue to publicly expose his dispute.
In late December, Blake filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and film producer Jamey Heath, for sexual harassment and defamation. The actress claims that both behaved inadequately during filming.
According to the actress, there was an alleged advertising campaign to destroy her reputation and divert the attention of the comments she made about the supposed behavior of the two men, who hired an advertising team to increase or publish negative stories about her on social networks.
On December 31, Baldoni sued the New York Times for an article in which, according to him, the newspaper took off statements about Blake’s complaint to “induce error.”
