If you didn’t know it, the cool girls this year in the winter adopt Babushka-Core, and they include Hailey Bieber. Instead of caps, we tie knitted scarves around our heads to keep warm, like our grandmothers. (The word “Babushka” means “grandmother” in Russian.) You can wear a regular scarf over your head or, like Bieber, choose a smaller, bandana -sized, designed specifically for this trend.

On January 29, Bieber was photographed in New York with her gray scarf, tied around her ears and neck. He paired it with a gray Crewneck Cardigan, a wide khaki pants and a classic khaki tint. For shoes, she preferred low-product black loafers with white socks, of course. Her black leather handbag was perfectly fitted with the shoes, while a diamond watch added a discreet glow to her look.

If this gray scarf is not exactly the same as the one she wore on Instagram in November 2024, then it is definitely very similar. In an IG story, Bieber had posted a photo of herself with a small knitted scarf loose around her head, which appeared to fit perfectly with her knitted t-shirt.

This trend is not exclusively winter, as Hailey Bieber has shown last summer when she renewed her vows with Justin Bieber. In a video from the ceremony she shared on Instagram and at the same time revealed her pregnancy, Hailey wore a lace scarf tied under her chin, reminiscent of the ’60s cinema star.
