Just over a month after its debut, Big Brother Brazil 25 has been receiving criticism for the apathy of its cast, a person apparently less willing to clash than the viewers wanted. The hoarse voice of social networks shows that, on the other hand, presenter Tadeu Schimdt stands out for his firm posture, as well as praise for Rafael Portugal.
The humorist participates in the program on Tuesdays, presenting the CAT BBB, a painting in which he interacts with fans and makes thanks to the main events and characters of the week. At 40, celebrated this Saturday (15), he uses his expertise to try to circumvent the doldrums of the game.
Rafael admits that apathy and lack of fights and futures among edition players make it difficult to work: “People arrive with brake, afraid to commit. So it’s hard.”
How does he do to circumvent this? It is encouraged in the characters, such as “Vilmoca” and Dona Delma. “I have not found it difficult to talk about them. But that’s it, there are programs and programs. Some end up creating more conflicts, some not so much, others take a while to engage a little more,” he says, while adding that he is “very fan” of BBB.
He says he is a spectator of reality, but also takes advantage of the opinion of even more expert family to do the picture: “I ask things to my mother, who sees straight. She brings her look at the situations.”
“It’s a whole creation together. In my house, with my wife and my daughters. So all the material I need, I have around me. I try to look at everything beyond mine,” he said.
In Cat BBB script Saulo Aride and Eduardo Belo and producer Dany Rodrigues work. “I always had a lot of freedom to create, even in all the script that comes ready for me, the whole situation that happens this week. I also deliver the viewer’s gaze.”
Rafael was born in Realengo, a neighborhood of the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, and started at the theater at 15 years. He worked as a supermarket repositor, office assistant and collecting garbage before becoming humorist. Success came even when it was part of the “back door”.
Since then, it has been more and more on TV. Those who live on on Globo’s program has already realized that he appears every week, in different schedules. It is on Sundays, on Sunday with Huck, Tuesdays, on BBB and, at any time, at Globoplay, in “Cosme and Damião: Almost Santos”. On weekends, Brazil still travels with its stand up show.
He celebrates the good phase he has been going through. “I’m very happy. Forty!” He told F5. “Very professionally accomplished, with two beautiful daughters: one finishing the second degree and one in the sixth period of medicine, with my wife working with me and family all good.”
