Latin music star Sakira was discharged last night from Lima Hospital, where she was admitted on Saturday due to abdominal pain, according to today’s Peruvian press reports.

“Thank you all for the affection messages. They give me so much power !! I love you with all my heart, “the Colombian singer, aged 48, wrote on social media yesterday.

A little earlier she had announced that “last night (Saturday), I had to go to the emergency room due to abdominal pain and I am currently hospitalized”, with many of her fans rushing out of the private clinic of the Maraflores tourist district.

Her first concert, scheduled for Sunday night, at Lima National Stadium was canceled.

For her part, Masterlive, the company that has taken over its concerts in Lima, said today that she was “coordinated” with the Sakira team to confirm or not, the second concert scheduled for her evening Monday.

Sakira arrived on Saturday in the Peruvian capital from Brazil, where she had begun, in Rio de Janeiro on February 11th, her first world tour for seven years to promote her latest album titled “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran “(Women are no longer crying), who was awarded the Grammy Best Latin Pop album.
