“Salvador is a part of me, Carnival is a part of me,” said singer Preta Gil during a chat with the press this Friday (28), at Express Camarote 2222, in Salvador (BA).

The artist arrived at the cabin in time to see the trio of singer Anitta, who greeted black saying her name, at the time of the Barra Lighthouse, on the Dodo Circuit of Salvador Carnival.

Daughter of Gilberto Gil, the singer currently undergoes an cancer treatment and came to the revelry to honor the trio of the great friend, Ivete Sangalo.

“Ivete is an extremely active friend. We talk every day, she wants to know how I am, give me a positive message, hug me, welcome me. She gives me a lot of strength,” Preta told Folha.

In 2023, at the opening of the first postpandeous carnival, Ivete Sangalo honored her friend by saying that she wanted to see her again at Carnival. And Ivete’s popcorn soon arrived to black watching.

“It’s good to see you here by enjoying your life, because you deserve to be well. If you settle, you’re at your home,” said Bahian from the electric trio.

“She is very special throughout these almost 30 years of friendship. It is a pact we have, in joy and sadness, and she makes this moment that I’m going to be less hurt, even if it has suffering,” said Preta.
