Carnival 2025 marks Iza’s return to work after the birth of the first daughter, Nala, in October last year.

The singer performs this Friday (28) at Camarote Brahma, at the Anhembi Sambadrome, in São Paulo.

In a press interview before the show, she talked about the delicacy of returning to work amid the postpartum. Iza says she has learned from motherhood to lead life more lightly.

“Nala taught me what priority is. When we understand the complexity of what it is to be a mother, everything looks easier,” he said.

“It’s been much easier to work. There are people who play with me wondering if my desire to pregnant was to work. I think it has to do with her. When you realize that your body created an organ, which is called a placenta, which created an entire human being and all without us or reasoning, we realize that it is a force of nature and that things can be quieter.”

Asked about his daughter’s cute moments, Iza said that Nala is thrilled when she sees her sing.

“She is thrilled when I sing. It makes me ecstatic,” the new-male poured. “Nala is smiling, noisy and loves confusion. The place she likes most in the house is the kitchen, which has smell, people coming in and out, dog going out, she likes to stay among people, interact, look in the eye,” he describes.

After opening the Brahma cabin stage, Iza intends to go home.

“As hot as it is not just milk and diaper and being able to focus on you, it seems that I leave a piece of me at home,” he confesses.

But for her, the moment is of gratitude. “If someone told me that Nala with four months I would be traveling, doing a show, I wouldn’t believe it. I’m grateful to her, she showed me that this is possible,” he says.
