BBB 20 champion Thelma Assis has a long relationship with the Paulista Carnival. On Saturday (1st), she marks her twentieth year parading for Youth Alegre.
On Tuesday, he will make his debut at Rio Carnival as Salgueiro Musa. “My new passion,” she says to F5 At the Bar Brahma cabin at the Anhembi Sambadrome, this Friday (28).
Another carnival passion of Thelma is the Baixo Augusta Academic Block, “the largest street block of the São Paulo Carnival”, as it defines.
In the block parade, last Sunday (22), the writer Marcelo Rubens Paiva, honored of the association, was beaten. He is the author of “I’m still here”, a book that inspired the film that can yield to Brazil the first Oscar for best movie on Sunday (2).
Thelma was thrilled to talk about the aggression to Marcelo and the movie.
“Aggression has nothing to comment on, it’s absurd,” he says, with tears in his eyes. She says she had to leave the block early and did not witness the violence.
“What I could witness was the beautiful tribute that the block made to Marcelo for the story and the legacy he is leaving now in the cinema. We have already won the Oscar and that is what has to be in the memory of the Brazilian,” said the doctor.
