Actors Humberto Carrão, Olivia Torres and Guilherme Silveira, who are in the cast of “I’m Still Here”, are cheering for the movie to win an Oscar straight from Marquis de Sapucaí, on Sunday night (2), the first day of the special group parades.
The three are in the Folia Tropical cabin, which distributes masks from actress Fernanda Torres to the guests. “I am very emotional and nervous. If we win, we will jump and celebrate a lot,” said Guilherme Silveira, who plays Marcelo Rubens Paiva Child in the feature.
Discovered while on the beach, the actor also makes his debut at Rio de Janeiro Carnival. “They found me on the beach and asked if I wanted to take a test. I think it hasn’t dropped the chip yet. In fact, I think it will never fall,” says Guilherme.
Humberto Carrão says that he even chose not to parade in the hose. “I was going to be completely deconcentrated because of the Oscars,” he says. “Fernanda asked not to be a cup mood, but it’s impossible,” he adds.
“I’m still here” competes in the best movie categories, best foreign film and best actress. In addition to the masks, the tropical revelry made an intervention and placed a poster in the strip with the phrase said by Fernanda: “Life Provides”
