Luiza Zveiter, 42, shared a reflection on her own body with her followers on social networks. Reporter of Mais Você (Globo), she talked about how her sagging, stretch marks and scars tell the story of her overcoming.
At 18, Luiza had a bariatric surgery. At the time, she weighed 136 kg, which had been causing her various problems. Since then, she has been trying to keep her shape, not just for aesthetics, but to stay healthy.
The reflection began when the journalist received a message from a woman who praised her figure, saying she has a “corpace”. “Compared to my previous body, it really is a corpace, but it is not a body that I naked is a body, so, right?” He said. “It’s a corpace in the sense that it is a body that takes me everywhere, it is a body that has health.”
Luiza went on: “I’m very proud of me, I’m very proud of myself, a lot. I think it’s … fuck.” “The body I have today, when I look at my arm, my shoulder, my ass, I say: I really, I have a corpace compared to myself, with Luiza of 136 kg,” he said.
Even so, she also said she has body parts that she would still like to change. “I have a lot of sagging thigh, so it’s a place I even wanted to operate,” he said. “Because I’ve done some plastic and the thigh inside is a place I needed to do. But it’s a whole process.”
Despite insecurities, it is in health that she wants to focus. “Coincidentally yesterday I went to the doctor, and then I weighed on a scale that it now has super modern, and my fat percentage gave 15.7,” he said. “My fat percentage was already 47, 48. So I stopped again, I came back in her message and said: I have a body. It’s the body that makes me go to the gym every day, take care, love more and more, love me more and more.”
This includes the marks that surgery left. “I think acceptance is what I can’t and can’t change, like my scars, I can’t get it out of myself, they tell all my story, I went through all the surgeries … My stretch marks tell all my obesity process. And my sagging was for weight loss, so I can’t change weight. I can get better, “he said.
“Could I decrease my fat percentage to have health? I could. Of course I am much more beautiful today than when I was visually fat. Because obese I’m still genetically,” he said.
“So, so, I really have a body, I have health, I have self-love,” he celebrated. “And I think I’m in my best version and I want to improve more, because we get older, we have to run more behind, do more bodybuilding, do the boxing I love, try to feed always better, because I also like a lot of things that is not healthy … and that’s it. Look for the best version of you.”
