Singer Anitta, 28, showed an unusual conversation with her friend Bruna Marquezine, 26, on Monday morning (21). In her Stories, the singer published the messages exchanged, in which the actress celebrated a video in which Justin Bieber was allegedly dancing to the song “Envolver”.
“Man, I opened my Instagram and saw Justin Bieber doing the ‘Envolver’ challenge. [A música] will hit number one and they will have to accept it. Come here, we have to celebrate. I love you,” Marquezine said in audio.
However, the video is a meme. “It’s montage”, wrote Anitta a few minutes after receiving the audio from her friend. “I want to record this and post it”, added the singer, who laughed with her friend in the exchange of messages.
This weekend, Anitta reached the 7th position in the global ranking of Spotify with the song “Envolver”. On Saturday (19), she jumped to the 9th position, from where she advanced more this Sunday, with almost three million reproductions of the hit, becoming the first Brazilian in the Top 10 of the platform.
The singer is also in the Top 10 of Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, and also appears in the Top 20 of other countries. The results refer to the total number of reproductions made on the day before publication.
Before the success of “Envolver”, Anitta’s highest ranked song on Spotify was “Vai Malandra” (2017), which reached 18th place. On YouTube, the music video surpassed the mark of 61 million views until this Sunday afternoon.
“Envolver” should be part of the singer’s new album, which will be released this year. At dawn this Sunday, Anitta brought another good news to her fans and revealed that the long-awaited album “Girl From Rio” should be released in April.
In the early hours of this Sunday (20), she made a series of tweets while “she was drunk” and between statements to fans and apologies for not doing “a drunk live”, she replied to a fan who questioned: “What is the date of the album , woman? Let go and blame the drink”.
