A Pepper Church Session that will write history!

On Wednesday, March 26 at 20.30, Sivert Høyem, Madrugada’s frontman comes to Greece exclusively for Peppers to create a unique concert universe in the Anglican Church of St. Paul in downtown Athens.

Sivert Høyem brings with him the songs that Peppers have loved over the years, “Sleepwalking Man”, “Theaving Heart”, “Moon Landing”, tracks from the album “On an Island”, but also from the brand new -9th solo album – “Dancing Headlights”.

Six things you need to know about Sivert Høyem:

  • He is a great fan of great musicians such as Nina Simone, Maharishi Jackson and Francoise Hardy.
  • Was decisively influenced by Leonard Cohen. He grew up listening to him from his parents and believes that his influence is obvious both in his music and lyrics.
  • He was honored to appear several times in concerts for the Nobel Peace Prize. In 2005 he played with Madrugada at the Nobel Peace Prize for performing two songs, “The Kids Are on High Street” and “Lift Me” with ANE Brun.
  • He has made a duet: with the well -known Norwegian singer and composer, ANE Brun. One of them was the cover of REM’s “Everybody Hurts” at a memory ceremony held for the terrorist attacks in Norway.
  • With Marie Munroe, also a famous artist, musician and singer. “My Thieving Heart” was performed together at both sold out concerts at Herodion in 2016.
