Dado Dolabella says it was hard to stop using drugs: ‘Losing my personality’

The fame and success of Dado Dolabella, 44, made the actor have contact, still young, with several drugs during luxury parties he frequented. The habit was difficult to drop, he said.

“It was two years of whirlpool. Thank God, I had a moment when I woke up, a click, and said, ‘Never again.’ It was when I felt I was losing my personality, who I was.”

Far from soap operas for years and investing in the musical career, he launched in March the song “We do love”. He said in an interview with Veja magazine that the consumption of various substances, such as cocaine and synthetic drugs, made it act in a way that was not of its shape.

Now it claims to be clean for almost twenty years. “We make a bad guy at the age of 20, and spend our entire lives trying to hit the bears of that phase. It’s not a privilege of mine, it’s from society that puts people in a large arena.”

In 2009, at age 29, he was arrested for disrespecting court order to maintain a distance from Luana Piovani, then ex-girlfriend, after being accused of assaulting her. In 2018, he returned to jail for two months due to his son -in -law to his son of his relationship with Fabiana Vasconcelos Neves.

In the same interview, he stated that at the time he could not afford to pay monthly transfers and that women have advantages in everything.

“When the woman fits a sentence, because she does not want to receive the value previously stipulated in court, the arrest goes faster than the review.”
