Emmy, John Lithgow and Jimmy Smitz are going to repeat their roles as Arthur Miller or otherwise Trinity Killer and Miguel Prado respectively, in the new chapter of the famous franchise “Dexter”.

Showtime’s brand new series, “DEXTER: Resurrection” has begun shooting from January in New York.

For the interpretation of the devilish Trinity Killer, Lithgow won Emmy, Critics’ Choice and SAG, as well as a Golden Globe nomination. Smitz was nominated for Emmy for his role in the third season.

According to Deadline, fans of the legendary series have now become accustomed to overturns from the world of the dead, a pattern that has been reinforced by the re -emergence of Lithgo on “Dexter: New Blood”.

David Zagias, Jack Alkot, Harrison Morgan and James Remar, also return to the new Spinoff, led by Michael S. Hall.

The new additions that will enrich the series include Uma Therman, Peter Dinkcidge and Kandia Saraf, among others.

DEXTER’s creator, Klidd Phillips, assumes the duties of showrunner and executive producer along with Scott Reynolds and others. Monica Reywood will be in the direction of four episodes and Mark Siega for the remaining six.

Lithgow has two Tony awards, six Emmy, two Golden Globes, three SAG awards and two Oscar nominations. Recently, he starred in Edward Berger’s Conclave while lending his voice to the Spellbound animated movie. In addition, he is expected to play the iconic Albus Dumbledore in the HBO’s Harry Potter series.
