The Sex pistolsthe iconic punk band created in London in 1975, announced its first tour in North America after more than 20 years.

Their previous tour on the American continent was in 2003 with a singer singer Johnny Roten (Johnny Rotten).

The guitarist Steve Jones (Steve Jones), drummer Paul Cook (Paul Cook) and the bassist Glenn Matlock (Glen Matlock) join forces with Frontman Frank Carter (Frank Carter) to conquer the American scene again.

The tour begins on September 16 at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, Texas, a highly charged space for the complex. In 1978, during their first tour in the US, the sex pistols faced a particularly hostile reception there.

“I remember throwing us bottles and various other cowboys,” Jones told the Associated Press.

The concert in Dallas is one of the three contained in the albums “Live in the USA”, which reflect the 1978 tour. The albums also include concerts in Atlanta and San Francisco. The live from the San Francisco concert, which will be released on April 25, is of particular importance as it records the concert where the band announced its dissolution.

“We are thinking of dissolving again in San Francisco,” Jones joked.

The tour will end on October 16 at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium, according to CBS News.

The band will make appearances in Washington, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle and San Francisco.

The pre -sale is expected on April 2 and 3. Tickets will be for sale a day later.
