Daniel Alves’s wife announced that she is waiting for her first child. The model Joana Sanz posted a video on social networks showing a positive pregnancy test, three days after the former player had the conviction for annulled sexual assault.

In the caption, she stated that she never had the dream of being a mother, but has matured the idea over time. “There is so much ignorance about the reproductive age of women and it is not so easy to get pregnant. Five years ago, I have considered the idea of ​​being a mother for five years. Fear because a human being will depend on me to survive, fear of not working, fear of losing me as a woman …” he wrote.

Joana said she twice did the in vitro fertilization procedure and had three gestational losses, added to an operation in the tubes and the discovery of an endometriosis. The model also recalled the loss of parents and said she felt orphaned and empty until the day she heard the baby’s heart beat.

“My last frozen embryo, my last hope of having this reason to be strong in life. Here it is, healthy and growing. And I know it was my mother who sent me so that I never feel alone, so that I dedicate myself to life and have this rainbow full of love after so much storm.”

Shortly before the announcement, Daniel’s wife shared a photo of the Brazilian taking ice cream, and put a heart emoji. The two met in May 2015 and married in May 2017 in Ibiza, Spain.

The decision of the Spanish Court of Appeals may still be appealed before the Supreme Court of the country.

Daniel Alves had been sentenced in February last year, but was released on bail of one million euros ($ 6.09 million) after spending 14 months in pre -trial detention at the Brianns 2 Penitentiary Center while waiting for the trial. The defense claimed in the request for provisional freedom that he had already served a quarter of the sentence.
