Mariana Bridi is back in Globo studios after twenty years away. The actress was confirmed by the station in the cast of the next six soap opera, “Éta Mundo Best!”, By Walcyr Carrasco.

Mariana, 40, faces ex-husband Rafael Cardoso in court, in a process that runs in confidentiality. She and mother, journalist Sônia Bridi, have protective measures against him.

Mariana has two children with the actor: Aurora, 10, and Valentine, 6. Rafael, 40, has not seen her children for over a year by court decision.

“This decision was made by the Family Court to protect the physical and psychological integrity of the two minors until legal requirements are met and the face -to -face life with the father can be restored,” Mariana explained on social networks about six months ago.

Rafael, who recently revealed to be addicted to drugs and alcohol, is investigated for psychological, moral and heritage violence against former wife and former maid. In November 2024, Sônia Bridi requested protective measure against her former genro stating that he broke into his home, destroyed his car and other objects, and uttered offenses and threats against her.

The measure was approved by the Court of Domestic and Family Violence against women based on the Maria da Penha Law. After the mother’s request, Mariana also requested protective measure against the ex.

Rafael Cardoso is still the father of Helena, one year old, with current companion, Carol Ferraz. He recently made a deal with the Rio de Janeiro Public Prosecutor to get rid of another process, this time for assaulting an elderly in a bar.

Mariana’s last soap opera was “Floribella” at Band in 2005. She also joined the cast of the 2004 “Workout”.
