Fotis Sergoulopoulos passes on the counterattack on the occasion of what the journalist recently said Antonis Prekas on a television show.

The reason for the presenter’s outburst were some comments made by Antonis Prekas on the air of the “Breakfast Sousse” show about Fotis Sergoulopoulos’ statement that he was not looking at the broadcasting numbers.

“Mr. Sergoulopoulos is doing very well and does not look at the television numbers since he thinks he has his donkey tied to public television. I do not know if we have a political change, if it will continue to have a broadcast on public television »Mr Prekas had stated.

Posting on social media, the presenter is particularly sharp, and clarifies that “there has never been any political intervention or extraterrestrial support at any stage of his career”.

In detail, Mr. Sergoulopoulos writes in his post:

“On the occasion of the public placements of Mr. Antonis Preca, who are arbitrarily formulated, incomplete and with the immediate purpose of defaming my face, I declare the following:

Mr Prekas, without knowing me personally or knowing my career, is repeatedly spreading false and slanderous references, about my supposed public television through “party criteria” and “political favors”. These claims are completely untrue, brutally offend my personality and unjustifiably affect my professional reputation and substance.

My position and presence on public television are the result of long, painful labor, uninterrupted dedication and evaluation solely on the basis of objective and meritocratic criteria. There has never been any political intervention or extraterrestrial support at any stage of my career.

I strongly condemn the dispersion of ungodly and slanderous hints against me and declare that I reserve all my legal right to remove the insult, the restoration of truth and to satisfy my moral damage, before all.
