Daniel Erthal, former Globo-actor, has a stolen drunk cart: ‘My only good’

Daniel Erthal, 43, used social networks on Monday (5) to tell that he had his beverages stolen at dawn. The vehicle was parked on the sidewalk, in front of the actor’s bar in Botafogo, in the south of Rio de Janeiro. He lamented violence in the city: “We are living dark times when it comes to safety in Rio. No one here can have anything,” Erthal began.

He continued the outburst: “I arrived to work and I didn’t find my beverage cart. It’s the extension of my bar, it’s part of my business plan. You know that a year and a half ago, I support myself with this cart. My only good. As I was without garage, he was exposed for two weeks – and now it’s not anymore.”

Erthal, who began his career in 2004 in Globo’s soap opera “Da Cor do Sin” and then acted in “Malhação” (2005), “Belíssima” (2006) and “Eternal Magic” (2007), acquired the wood – all made of wood and with three coolers – through a partnership with a beer brand. The actor also went through Record, where he worked on “Rebelde” (2011), “The Promised Land” (2016) and “Jezebel” (2019). His last TV work was a participation in “Cara & Courage” (2022), at Globo.

The crime occurred shortly after Erthal revealed that he had no profit during the Lady Gaga megashow, on Copacabana beach, on Saturday (3). He was one of the street vendors prevented from accessing the beach and ended up selling drinks on one of the event access to the event.

Daniel began selling drinks on the streets of Rio de Janeiro in 2024. With profits, he opened a bar in the city. According to him, in the last three years he has invested in actor training courses, shared videos on cast platforms and sent e-mails to producers, but received no answers. Given this, he decided that “enough of the others” and he opted for the path of entrepreneurship.
