In treatment against cancer in the lymphatic system, singer Netinho, 58, used social networks this Saturday (10) to announce that he intends to return to the stage. The interpreter of “Mila” has not dug a date, but revealed that he is already negotiating a presentation with producers from Aracaju, capital of Sergipe. “We are programming the date for my return to shows. Axé pure root, without any vulgarity or low. Just a lot of positive joy and a lot of high self -esteem,” he said.
Netinho stressed that the show will not happen immediately. He explained that he is still halfway to chemotherapy treatment and will then undergo a bone marrow transplant. “It will be without the need for a donor, of me to myself,” he said.
Bone marrow transplantation is an essential procedure in treating serious blood and immune system diseases such as leukemia, lymphomas, marrow aplasia, immunodeficiency syndromes and multiple myeloma. The process consists of replacing the sick bone marrow or committed by a healthy.
This transplant can be autogenic when the marrow comes from the patient himself – as in the case quoted by the Bahian singer. Alogenic transplantation is performed with cells from a compatible donor.
Netinho received the diagnosis in March, after departing from Carnival to perform tests. Since then, it has been through three stages of chemotherapy and said it was reacting well to treatment. “In what I can, I will do everything to demystify this kind of medical treatment, which I am facing with courage, faith, much peace, tranquility, absence of haste, honor, gratitude and discipline,” he wrote in a recent post on Instagram.
