Favorite songs by composer Linos Kokotos, one of the most famous representatives of the so -called new wave, such as “Daughter of Gialos”, “My Neighbor”, “Girl with Trousers”, “The Dolphinist”, will be heard at the University of Macedonia at the University of Macedonia. (irodi).

The event will take place on Saturday May 24th, by 6 in the afternoonat the Funeral Amphitheater of the University of Macedonia.

The songs are orchestrated by Yiannis Dimitriou and in artistic editing by Lena Karagiannidou. The song is Electra Karalis and Petros Bousalis, while the EKEK of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, the KDAP MEA PERAIA access, the Down Syndrome Association and the Neapolis – Sykes.

The musical tribute to Linos Kokotos will have live performance in Greek sign language, from the interpreters Glyceria Gatziou and Dimitra Natsiou, as well as by the pupils and students of the Special Primary School of Deaf Panorama, under the guidance

The musical tribute will be awarded the awards of the awards of the Photography Competition, entitled “Looking for the meaning: Symbolism through the lens”, supported by the Municipality of Neapoli – Sykes, the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Autistics and the Down Hellenic Syndrome Association. The photography exhibition will be hosted at the Library of the University of Macedonia, from May 24, 2025 to December 5, 2025.

The event will close with the “Non Alcoholic Inclusive Party” from the including “protagonists”.

The Festival is an institution of the University and the Support Unit of Social Inclusion through Art, the Laboratory of Educational and Social Inclusion of People with Learning and Adaptation Difficulties.
