It is season of becas and hoods at American universities. Some famous Brazilians, who sent their children to study abroad, are ecstatic.
Last week, Sophia Raia, daughter of actors Claudia Raia and Edson Celulari, and Elisa Paglia, daughter of journalists Sandra Annenberg and Ernesto Paglia, graduated from New York University (NYU).
Both graduated in the same course: Performing Arts at Tisch Drama, the Nyu School of Arts. “May this diploma be just the first scene in a movie where you are director, protagonist and, above all, author of the story itself,” wrote Claudia Raia. In addition to the formanda, the actress posed accompanied by her husband, Jarbas, and the eldest son, Enzo Celulari.
“Four years of longing, four years away. It’s not easy to stay away, but I don’t feel sad, on the contrary, just joy to see how much she grew up. I look back and see that everything was worth it,” Sandra Annenberg wrote. Elisa is the only child of the couple of journalists from Globo.
Another famous NYU former student is Lucas Jagger, son of Luciana Gimenez and Mick Jagger. He graduated in May last year.
In March, Laura Bonemer, daughter of Fatima Bernardes and William Bonner, completed her master’s degree at the Grenoble School of Administration in France. VinÃcius Bonemer is also graduated in France, in Computer Engineering at Télécom Paris. The other triplet, Beatriz, chose to study design at a school in Rio de Janeiro. The trio is 27 years old.
