During Pabllo Vittar’s show, Silvero Pereira enjoyed every second of Lollapalooza 2022’s performance. In addition to being an artist he is an admirer, this is the first time the actor has stepped into the famous music festival, which takes place at the Interlagos Circuit, in Sao Paulo.
“I’ve already started on the right foot, seeing Pabllo delivering everything on stage, showing an absurd evolution in her performance”, he evaluated. “This is very important for Brazilian artists, who are increasingly conquering the international scene. I am very happy to see several national talents shining alongside foreign names.”
On Monday (28), he can be seen on the small screen as Zaqueu, his role in the soap opera Pantanal (Globo). “The Papinha [o diretor Rogério Gomes] who invited me to play this character, which has a very interesting dramatic arc.”
“It’s a dream come true, because I watched the soap opera, when the first version was released”, he said. “So, today, it seems that I act with the characters and not the actors, because of how much I was attached to the plot for more than 30 years.”
For him, the most important thing about this new novel is a review of the plot and the history of what the Pantanal region is today. “We didn’t know the Pantanal at that time, and the telenovela had this role of showing new horizons”, he reflected.
“In this new version, the production was careful to keep the initial story, but to think about what the Pantanal is like in 2022”, he added. “And speaking of Zacchaeus, I want to bring a new look to the LGBTQIA+ issue, take it from the mockery to a deeper conversation,” said the actor, who considers the next global attraction to be a mixture of entertainment and education.
