Fired after a supposed confusion with Father Fábio de Melo, the now former manager of a coffee shop in Joinville (SC) Jair Aguiar, 36, used social networks to pronounce for the first time about the case. He denies disrespecting the priest and says he has even suffered to leave the house.

Last week, Fábio de Melo entered the coffee shop in Santa Catarina and realized that the prices of two jars of dulce de leche were different. According to him, after reporting this to an employee, the then manager would have been rude to him. The controversy resulted in the dismissal of the professional.

Through social networks, Jair says he has been the target of malicious judgments and comments. “I want to be able to walk in my city with dignity, have the courage to go out on the street. They tell me that I am the national shame, I am very shaken, my family suffers a lot,” he said.

He states that he was fired due to the repercussion of the case and not for the supposed attitude, which he denies having had.

“For the repercussion, they sent me away, they did not want to hear my version. I did not disrespect him, nor did I talk to the priest. I was recently hired, I was happy with this job, because I come with a humble family. I treated everyone with love and respect.”

He cites a video of the internal circuit of the establishment that has viralized on social networks that shows the moment when Melo and a friend enter the cafeteria.

“Images show that at no time do I talk to the priest. I was just doing my job. I want to be respected and have the right to follow my life in peace without carrying a mistake I didn’t make.”

Jair says fear reprisals for being exposed. “I want to get a job again, because I’m afraid of not being able to enter the job market anymore. My name is everywhere.”

Sought, the priest did not comment, but in video also reverberated the matter. First, he said he regrets the resignation, but reinforced his point of view in the controversy.

“He has said that I didn’t even see the price of dulce de leche. Take the same cameras and you will see that who went to the shelf to get the candy was me. [Jair] A little discussion with employees began and I think it was not the time to argue. He did not change any word with myself, but he spoke loudly for everyone to hear that the price was that and whoever he wanted to take. “

According to Melo’s version, he should have honored the price on the shelf and that it would not justify a fear of the professional. “He wouldn’t have to argue with an employee, he would have to have directed us the word. There is nothing a smile on his face does not solve. I have no reason to lie.”

The full priest. “No manager has the right to decide anything that contradicts the consumer law law. That the episode will serve so much harmful people see that there is law and it needs to be honored.”
