The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police indicted the influencer Ana Paula Minerato for the crime of racism. She is accused of giving offenses to singer Ananda through audio messages who leaked late last year. The member of the melanin carioca group, who was a companion of a former minerato boyfriend, was called “hard hair mine” and “neguinha”.
Delegate Rita Salim, holder of the Racial Crimes and Crime Police Station (Decradi), concluded that the terms used in audios reinforce racist stereotypes. The case was referred to the Rio de Janeiro Public Prosecution Service.
Ana Paula Minerato even gave testimony to Decradi when the case became public and recognized that she was the author of the audio, although she claimed that her lines were removed from context. She also stated that the recording was made without her consent by a man she was related to. Minerato was disconnected from the Faithful Gavião Samba School, of which he was prominent, and fired from the Band, after 9 years of home. The influencer worked on the daily program on Radio Band FM, Band FM Station.
Federal Deputy Érika Hilton (PSOL) also asked MP-SP to investigate the case at the end of 2024, but the São Paulo body filed the complaint for “lack of evidence”. THE F5 Contact Ana Paula Minerato and got no response. She either and has not yet commented on the indictment.
