Cauã Reymond, 45, said he suffered bullying during his childhood and was very lonely because he had no one to share it with. The statement was made during the participation of the actor at Altas Horas (Globo) of Saturday (24).
“I suffered a lot of bullying, my mother was HIV positive, my grandmother adopted my mother, was single and disabled mother. My aunt, who was also adopted, was schizophrenic.
In the air like César Ribeiro from the remake of “Vale Tudo”, Cauã said it was not an easy time, but that helped him to be a better actor. “I know it’s hard when people look at me today, but I had a childhood, very, very difficult, very rich too, that helps me tell stories,” he said.
He also pointed out that at the time he was afraid to tell what he was living for the family. “One thing I felt about bullying is that sometimes I came home and I had no one to say, I was ashamed, my mother was running after life, she was a very young mother, so I didn’t talk to anyone,” he said.
The point of turning, according to him, was starting in the sport. “I entered Jiu-Jitsu from 14 to 15 years old and started finding a form of defense, self-esteem, self-confidence,” he said.
Astrologer Denise Reymond, Cauã’s mother, died in 2019. She was 55 years old and had complications generated by ovarian cancer.
