Marina Ruy Barbosa’s purple arm, 29, continues to say something to speak. The Brazilian appeared in this way in Cannes and explained that the reason for the lack of circulation would have been the weight of the dress, more than 15 pounds.
Fashion presenter and consultant Arlindo Grund wonders if in fact Marina was uncomfortable with the dress of Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, made to her. He opines that the purple in her arm was hardly caused by the weight of the clothes.
“Was the dress really uncomfortable and hard to wear, even though it was created by people with fashion expertise and carrying the name of a brand? Would she go through this?” He asks.
“I think that everything was very well thought out and above all, the dress reinforced the beautiful image of Marina, gently, but also of an empowered and strong woman who goes over everything to be well dressed. I just don’t know if it went over the comfort,” he says.
In the expert’s opinion, there are those who go through certain situations to wear certain pieces in fashion, and often the feeling of dressing something that hurts, but is beautiful, is more pleasant than discomfort.
Even so, he reinforces that convenience should guide productions in this universe. “A dress like this one from Balmain is not for anyone. There is a weight, logistics and a support for those who will wear it at an event,” he says.
‘It is worth carrying some of the cannes’
Accustomed to putting pieces of various brands, the model Schynaider Moura, 36, states that Marina Ruy Barbosa did it right to carry a “more weights” to appear beautiful in the photos of the Cannes event.
“Fashion is fantasy, innovation, is to mess with the imaginary. An event like the Cannes Festival, where the greatest celebrities in the world are, is the right place to dare, show style and play with the pieces,” he says.
About the actress’s purple arm, the model states that you need to have a balance when choosing a dress.
“It’s no use being wonderful and can’t hold it. But I think it’s worth carrying some extra weights to create an effect, one memory. And another: red carpet doesn’t last all night,” says Schynaider, who says she has already used “comfortable zero” parts parades. “It’s part.”
