We all know how important hydration is. You put your cream on your face, a little body lotion on your hands and feet and you feel ready. But … do you know that there are points that we almost always forget to moisturize? And then we wonder why we feel the skin pulled or we see dry skin where we didn’t expect it.

One of the most neglected spots is the elbows. We usually don’t even look at them until we see them dull, cracked or hard skin. The same is true of the knees, which receive pressure and friction from clothes but often we do not care. Another point we forget about it is the heels. Especially in the summer, with sandals and flip flops, they are exposed to the sun, dust and drought. And yet, with a little cream every night they could be soft and well -groomed.

What we also leave out of our routine is the neck and neckline. It is an extension of the face, but often we do not treat them. The result is that they look more “aging” than the rest of the skin, especially if the sun sees without sunscreen.

Another surprise is the hands, but more specifically … the palms and areas around the nails. There the skin is easily dehydrated, especially if you often wash dishes or use antiseptics. And of course, the lips. It’s not just for lipstick. If you do not moisturize them regularly, dehydrate, peel and lose their appearance, even their shape with time.

The truth is that our body shows us what we need. We just have to give him a little more importance and not forget that hydration is not only a matter of beauty, but also of health. A few seconds more when you put your cream, enough to make your skin thank you all summer.
