Arrested at Guarulhos airport for not paying a pension, former striker Joe went to jail once again in a year.

The athlete’s own lawyer, Guilherme Motai, confirmed the detention on a video published on social networks. “We were aware of the arrest warrant due to non -payment of alimony. This non -payment stems from a financial situation that is unreal,” he said.

“It does not match the reality of the former player. He does not escape his responsibility, but this responsibility has to be adequate to his reality,” he said.

Last year, Joe had already been arrested for not paying a pension and spent a night at the cell. He was in a chain attached to the 2nd DP of Campinas. The release permit was issued by the Bahia court, which confirmed the discharge of the debt.

Joe has eight recognized children, six of them out of her then marriage. The process that led him to prison runs in a secret of justice for involving a minor. The most recent action was filed by influencer Maiara Quiderolly, mother of one of his sons.
