Alinne Moraes comments on sex scenes with Alice Carvalho in ‘Warriors of the Sun’: ‘They were chic’

Alinne Moraes is excited to talk about Jania, her character in “Warriors of the Sun”. The soap opera, recorded in 2023, began to be aired at Globoplay and the Globoplay Novelas Channel (new name of the Living Channel) on the 11th.

“At the beginning of history, she is a submissive woman, like all of that time, in the 1920s,” says the actress. “With the war in cangaço, she sees the need to position herself – and then she becomes a warrior, revolutionary and feminist woman.”

Alinne declares himself a feminist and says he considers the text of authors George Moura and Sérgio Goldenberg a faithful portrait of the struggles faced by women over the decades. “We need to value our history and understand how and why feminism came about,” he says. “We are here, alive and alive, doing what is possible because of women who have given their lives for us. We should value them.”

The actress also commented on the romance between Jania and the character Otília, played by Alice Carvalho. “The involvement between the two arises from a strong friendship, from admiration – and then evolves into something more intense,” he says. “To assume this love relationship out of a marriage at that time was to go straight to the guillotine, an immediate death. About the couple’s sex scenes, Alinne minimizes. “I think all the characters have sex scenes, and our couple, who love each other, also have, of course,” he says. “There are many [cenas]. They got chic, “he warns.
