Recovering from hernia surgery, Luciana Gimenez, 55, spoke in an interview with Daniela Albuquerque about the current state of health.
“If you have a health problem, nothing more matters. You realize that everything else is bullshit and just want to solve it,” she said, who had an episode of acute pain that led her to emergency surgery for three months. “I’m afraid to sleep, because it happened while I was sleeping. So I keep thinking about my column.”
During the chat, the presenter recalled the pregnancy of her first child, Lucas Jagger, now 26. According to Gimenez, the harassment of the international press was so great that she had to leave the property she lived in London.
“I thought I wouldn’t take it, I cried during the nine months of pregnancy,” he says. “There was a child in my belly, I needed to stay calm. It helped me. If it wasn’t for him, it would have been even harder, because when you have such an important purpose as a child, you can have strength.”
The episode also turned her away from close people. “I lost several friends. It was good because it gave a sieving. There was a friend who sold a diary I forgot at his house. It was a difficult time,” he recalls.
The presenter is also the mother of Lorenzo, 14, with Marcelo de Carvalho, owner of RedeTV!
