Who is Father Alessandro Campos, who won almost $ 1 million for three shows in Bahia

With more than 2 million followers, Father Alessandro Campos is widely requested for shows and events throughout Brazil. This June alone, he received $ 975,000 for three shows in Bahia (Barreiras, Itamim and Campo Formoso), as pointed out by the state’s transparency panel.

The 43 -year -old priest, book author, became well known for singing religious songs with the country levada. He was born in Guaratinguetá (SP) and showed a desire to enter the branch at the age of seven, when he was already playing a priest when ministering fictional masses at home.

In 2014, he returned to the diocese of Mogi das Cruzes, where he received the blessing of Bishop Dom Luiz Stringhini. From that moment on, he began to propagate faith in media.

Through social networks, he calls himself the “Country Father of Brazil” and does not give up his belt and hat.

In 2021, he had a crisis with a former businessman, who sued him for a supposed breach of contract and labor debts. In an interview with Convers with Bial (Globo), Alessandro talked about it.

“The problem was when there was the confusion of the sacred with the profane. I am the priest artist, not the artist priest. When my former businessman wanted to put the artist before the priest, then we started to have some difficulties, which were remedied,” he said.
