After criticized absence at school events, Virginia goes to the Greater Rio rehearsal

Virginia Fonseca was present at the first battery rehearsal of Grande Rio on Tuesday night (24). The digital influencer, who assumes the post of drum queen in place of Paolla Oliveira, was received on the school court, in Duque de Caxias (RJ), with the right to the president of the association, Milton Perácio.

“I came by surprise to watch the first drum rehearsal, too beautiful,” wrote the artist on her social networks, also publishing images with drum master Fabricio de Lima.

In the record, she appears smiling on stage, in front of the rhythms and leaders of the red, white and green of Baixada Fluminense. This was his first trip at a Greater Rio event since the announcement of his coronation, made on May 22.

Since then, the absence of the influencer in traditional school events, such as the feijoada that occurred earlier this month, caused discomfort between part of fans and community members.

“Our drum weighs a ton, but our disappointment with the choice of Queen weighs 2x more. Our manguebeat deserved more,” wrote the @camilegyn profile in a comment that went viral on the networks. “Just missing the queen to get in the pace too, right? Where was she on feijoada day? Divulging tigrinho?”

Virginia’s coronation was received with reactions divided from the beginning. While part of the public celebrated the reinforcement of the media visibility it can bring to school, many lamented the departure of Paolla Oliveira, who had held the post since 2020 and was dear to the community.

With more than 50 million followers, Virginia should arrive at Marquês de Sapucaí in 2025 as a figure of much expectation, both for those who do not like and for fans of the influencer.
