At last night’s big concert – a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mikis Theodorakis at the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), five 16 -year -old boys who go to a music school and play on the Rebetika street and songs by Theodorakis.
The Teketzides (Tekezides) were on the stage of Kallimarmaros along with George Dalaras, who went on and found them on Ermou Street who sing and invited them to the concert.
G. Dalaras performed with them “It is raining in the slum” – in lyrics by Tasos Levaditis, music by Mikis Theodorakis and the original interpretation of Gregory Bithikotsis in Alekos Alexandrakis’ film “The Dream of the Music” – and the Dream of the 16th.
