Famous react to Leo Lins’s joke about black gil cancer: ‘Monster’

In a show at the Gazeta Theater, on Paulista Avenue, in São Paulo, comedian Leo Lins made a joke that mocked black cancer Gil. This was his first presentation in São Paulo after being sentenced to more than eight years in prison for jokes considered racist and prejudiced.

According to the newspaper O Globo, the humorist remembered a 700-person audience when the singer sued him after he called her “nut” on television. The public could not use their cell phones to film or photograph the presentation.

“Black Gil came to sue me due to a joke from years ago. Three months after the process arrived, she appeared with cancer. Well, it looks like God has a favorite. I think he liked the joke. And at least she will lose weight,” he said on stage.

Lins’s speech revolted famous people who came out in defense of black on social networks. One of them was actress Alice Wegmann, who in “Vale Tudo” (Globo) plays Solange.

“Is this monster still talking absurd and committing crimes out there?” She published in an account that reverberated the subject on social networks.

The actor and former federal deputy Alexandre Frota also defended the artist. He used his Instagram profile to criticize Lins’ posture in the theater.

“Leo Lins, we already know each other, you sometimes had the opportunity to play with me and I know I took everything good. I even shut up in the face of your conviction, but talking about Black Gil’s disease is unacceptable,” he began.

“You may not know the pain of fathers and mothers who have your children condemned to this disease. You may not know that thousands of children in Brazil and around the world will not reach your age,” he amended about the 42 -year -old humorist.

Finally, Fleet said he is a person who works for families and hospitals who fight the disease and stressed that he condemns the humorist’s speech. “You play the work of nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, experts, researchers who work in cancer combat.”
