In his letter to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the resigned Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, Dionysis Stamenitis, makes it clear that there was never any intervention in OPECEPE’s administration of bypass or procedures, except discussions in the context of his duties.

In particular, Mr Stamenitis in his letter cites the reasons for the reasons that led him to the decision to resign.

The whole letter of Mr. Stamenitis:

Regarding the content of the case file and the reference of my name to it, I would like to inform you that there has never been the slightest to OPECEPE’s administration of procedures or exceeding them, except – in the reality of the chosen – discussion of the examination of citizens –
Producers who were in mind.

I would like to clarify that for the subject, what is really contained and referred to in the case file is clearly concerned with my dialogue in the context of exercising my responsibilities.

During my term, I worked with dedication and responsibility, operating with the sole purpose of serving the public interest. However, for reasons of political strangulation and realizing the political climate created by the latest developments and the transmission of the case file to the House, I submit to you my resignation and please accept it.

Thank you very much for the honor you made me trust me in the position of Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food.
