Anyone who rejects marriages because they consider them superficial or insignificant is not right. Like any celebration – a union of different groups of people from different backgrounds and generations – a marriage is always a fact that one is worth noting. That is why people, by their nature strange creatures, can only fool weddings, either outside a small town hall or on the pages of a magazine. And when marriages become “windows” in the lives of the rich and the powerful – lives with which ordinary people can hardly be associated – there is even greater charm.
Let’s take investor marriage for example Alex Soros with Huma Abendinclose associate of Hillary Clinton, and of course his marriage Jeff Bezos with Lauren Sanchez. There are similarities: billions – many billions. The Soros family, starting with Patriarch George, 94 years old today, once controlled a $ 25 billion wealth, but in 2017 it transferred much of it (about $ 18 billion) to the Open Society, their charity and investment truck and investment in investment. Bezos has even more: about $ 230 billion.
Thus, neither of the two marriages could be described as modest or low -key. The wedding of the son of billionaire George Soros lasted a few days and was presented to Vogue, not only because the magazine’s editor -in -chief, Anna Windour, is a bride’s girlfriend. More compared, the bride calls her “surrogate mom”.

I couldn care less if they’re in love or not. I want his family and their money banned from America.

Bezos’ marriage was also lasted for three days, with more than 200 guests, first-class names from showbiz, politics and business. Along with the pair of parties, activists in Italy, with organizations such as Greenpeace condemning the luxurious ceremony, inviting Bezos to pay more taxes. “If you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more taxes,” the banners they raised in downtown Venice wrote.

On the contrary, no one expressed a single word of protest about Soros’ marriage. This is due to the fact that it took place in the Hamptons, the coastal “Ekali” of New York.
Soros and Bezos may both belong to the elite, but come from very different worlds. Soros’ heirs are second generation, what is often referred to as … old money. They no longer make money, but they invest it. Through Open Society, they are committed to donating their property for good. With Donald Trump’s return to the White House, this will get “flesh and bones”.
Bezos, on the other hand, is relatively young in the elite and is a symbol of new money. Especially after his first divorce, he has become a “food” for the tabloids: a man who was “reborn” with a new partner, showing a party, yacht and famous friends on social media. Lately, one of these friends seems to be other than Trump himself, whose swearing -in he watched with his current wife. Two worlds near wealth, but very different in culture.
Their views on life – and marriages – are, therefore, quite different. The marriage of Bezos and Loren Sanchez was described as the “marriage of the century”. After two years of engagement, Bezos took the girl and they lived well and we better lived.
For Soros and Abendin it was not love at first glance. They have been moving for years in the same powerful and rich circles, with Clinton as symbolic patrons and Rothschild-Hilton as consul, but their relationship remained discreet, with few common appearances.
The grooms could not be more different. Jeff Bezos is a businessman, having built a stunning fortune through the creation and leadership of Amazon, as opposed to the most “passive” Alex, one of George Soros’ five children and, according to those close to the family, is at least likely to be chosen to manage her.
The brides, though also quite different, share some similarities. Both are daughters of immigrant families, but they were born in the United States. Abedin was born in Michigan to an Indian father (who has died), while her mother was from Pakistan. Sanchez – who is of Latin American descent – calls herself a “third generation” and was born in Albukerki of New Mexico. Both have children (and Bezos has – four, who are now studying at college, with his ex -wife McKenzi Scott – Soros, a lifelong bachelor so far, has not been married in the past.
Sanchez has her eldest child with former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, and two of her 13 -year -old marriage to the famous Agent Patrick Wutchel. Abendin has a 13 -year -old son, Jordan, with former Democratic MP Anthony Weiner, from whom he split after the scandal with the messages he sent to minors. A controversy that cost Weiner its headquarters, led to nearly two years in prison and eventually proved to be a “tombstone” for their marriage.
They are both self -made, having “built” careers independent of the relationships that now place them at the center of public attention. Lauren Sanchez was a television presenter, a helicopter lover and a pilot diploma who founded Black Ops Aviation a decade ago, a company specializing in aerial shots for television and cinema.
Huma Abedin’s course is no less impressive: while studying at the famous University of George Washington, he found a practical exercise in the White House at the age of just 19 and then became Hillary Clinton’s right hand.

Even if the surnames of their spouses have financial and business burden, it is undoubtedly that brides are curious about their personal and professional career, as well as their rise to the top. And, as is often the case with the very rich, what draws even more attention is exaggerations. Undoubtedly, the marriage of Bezos won all the places, even in the malice …
