The classic part of the summer “Summer in the City” – famous with the voice of the inadequate Joe Cocker in 1994 – was released as a single in the US on July 4, 1966.

Almost immediately – on August 13, 1966 – it went up to No. 1 on the American success of success and is among the top 500 songs of all time in Rolling Stone’s valid music magazine.

The song has been included in dozens of films of television series and commercials, and many great artists and bands have been performed.

However, Summer in the City was first released by the American band Lovin ‘spoonful.

The song was written by the brother of the band John Sebastian, Mar, and is contained in the third album of the band “Hums of the Lovin ‘spoonful, released in November 1966.

In fact, Mark initially wrote the lyrics of the song as a poem, intending to submit it to a literary magazine.

But when (fortunately) his brother John discovered it, he changed the lyrics a little, included it on the album and the rest is history …
