American artist Rosie O’Donnell, currently in self -exile situations in Ireland, reacted after being threatened by Donald Trump on Saturday to have her citizenship revoked.

On social networks, Rosie called the American president “apart, dangerous and demented, who has no empathy, compassion and basic humanity.”

After the artist criticized the way the government dealt with the floods in Texas, Trump wrote on his social network Truth that he considered revoking his basic rights as an American citizen.

“Because Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our great country, I’m seriously considering removing her citizenship. She is a threat to humanity and should remain in the wonderful country of Ireland if they want her there. God bless America.”

“I am a direct opposition to everything he represents, as well as millions of people,” said Rosie. “Are you going to deport everyone who goes against your wicked trends? You’re a bad joke that can’t form a coherent sentence,” he said.

According to US law, a president cannot revoke the citizenship of an American born in the United States. O’Donnell was born in the state of New York, daughter of an Irish father and American mother.

The comedian moved to Ireland earlier this year with her 12 -year -old daughter, shortly after Trump took her second term. At the time, she said she intended to return “when the US is a safe country for everyone.”

Lesbian and mother of five children, Rosie was an important activist for the rights of LGBTQia+ people regarding marriage, adoption and maternity.

Historic

The disaffection between the comedian and the current US president dates back two decades ago, when she made jokes with him, a then businessman and owner of the Miss Universe contest, in her old humor program The View.

“I never thought it would be immigrant. But it was the decision that I believed it would be better for me and my 12 -year -old daughter. I’m happy, Dakota is happy. I miss my other children, my friends and home. I’m trying to find a home in this beautiful country. When I am safe for all citizens to live in the US, then I will consider Rosie in March.

The artist is also the mother of Parker, 29, Chelsea, 27, Blake, 25 and Vivienne, 22, all adopted with ex-wife Michelle Rounds, who died in 2017. Throughout her 62 years, Rosie was a symbol in the struggle for the right to adoption by homosexual couples. She even had one of the children taken from her home through the state of Florida in 2001.

Rosie O’Donnell worked on several sitcoms, movies, pieces and TV shows. It was Betty in the live action of “Os Flintstones” (1994) and was in the cast of classics such as “Tuning of Love” (1993) and “Tarzan” (1999). He also presented two famous talk-show, The Rosie O’Donnell Show and The View, both with multiple nominations and wins at Emmy.
