Dominic McLaughlin will take on the role of Harry Potter, Alastair Stout will play his loyal friend Ron Weasley, while Arabella Stanton will be his new Hermione Granger.

These are three new talents that emerged through an audition that attracted tens of thousands of children aged 9 to 11 years.

Last month, the HBO confirmed that John Lithgow will have the emblematic role of Albus Dumbledore and with him Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Janet Maktier in the role of Minerva McGonagall and Papa Esitu as Severus Snape.

In addition, Luke Tallon will have the role of Quirinus Quirrell, while Paul Whitehaus will appear as Argus Filch. According to the official summary, “the series will be a faithful adaptation of the author’s favorite series of books and executive producer, full of fantastic details and with the beloved characters that Harry Potter’s fans have been worshiped for over 25 years.”

The series will be released almost 30 years after the release of the first book of the popular series and 15 years after the last film “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” in cinemas.
