Presenter and vice president of RedeTV!, Marcelo de Carvalho, 63, used social networks to report a theft with the brother of the eldest son in Europe. However, he was accused of racism in saying that the crime was committed “obviously by an African -looking subject.”

“My eldest son’s brother has just been robbed in Barcelona. Obviously, an African -looking guy, the millions that Europe let in, tunned him, tore off his cell phone and ran out,” Marcelo wrote on the social network.

After publication, his name was quickly raised to one of the topics of the highest debate in X. Many people criticized him and accused him of prejudice for the report.

The repercussion was so negative that Marcelo de Carvalho published another general message about the case. “He is an African -looking guy. It could be Japanese -looking. It could be a Slavic appearance, it could be of Viking appearance. Hey bag of boring people,” he wrote. Then it deleted the messages. Wanted, Marcelo and RedeTV! They did not respond.

On the station’s vice president’s page, many people questioned him about the comment. “See a black bother you, Marcelo”? Questioned a follower. “No. I find it admirable anyone to win by their own effort. Whether black, white, yellow, green or navy,” he replied.

In another post by Marcelo, who praised the beauty of actress Dakota Johnson, a follower made a provocation: “If it had African appearance, you would not find it beautiful or talented,” he wrote. “Don’t be ‘racist’. There are brunettes, mestizos and black people of the most beautiful,” said Marcelo.
