The news of the death of Preta Gil, at age 50, mobilized not only close artists and friends, but also a crowd of anonymous who told social networks lived with the singer’s special moments.
Most reports have in common the memory of a generous, fun and affordable woman – anywhere she made a point of being present, listening and changing affection, even in everyday situations.
One of the memories that repercussions most was that of flight attendant Lucas Ramos. He said that in 2015, he served black during a flight from Sao Paulo to the Maldives, where she would pass the honeymoon. Realizing that Lucas spoke Portuguese, the singer opened a “huge smile” and invited him to talk.
“She asked me if I was free because I wanted to share the excitement with someone. I was almost an hour sitting with them, in her seat. It was the first time in the first class, which was freaking out how chic it was.
On social networks, dozens of fans reinforced this same image of black: charismatic, helpful and warm. The user @tataxa remembered that she met the singer after winning a promotion and welcomes her at home. “We had a very fun afternoon. She was empathic, loving, generous, heard and told stories. She washed her soul.”
At X (former Twitter), @bufani described the backstage visit of Serginho Groisman’s program in 2023. “She was undoubtedly the most friendly and attentive artist I have ever met. Rest in peace.” Already the netizen @kaylevanta1 said that during a show, was surprised by a compliment of the artist: “She stopped, looked at me on the grid, said I was beautiful and asked if my sister -in -law was my twin sister. A cute.”
The singer’s memory also echoes in older stories, such as that of user @Ivferreira85, who spent a New Year’s Eve in Jericoacoara: “She did a show in a hotel and asked to open the curtains to the people who were in the sand to watch as well.
Another report came from @exilebalsano, who heard from his mother about a concert that Black played at a 15th birthday party of two family twins. “She talked to everyone, took pictures, took advantage of the entire party with contagious energy.”
Even when she was late, as @lovesonzaa recalls, the singer was keen to be kind: “I met her at Santos Dumont airport. I asked for a picture and even in a hurry, it was superfofa, asked where I was, very helpful.”
