TV shooting in Mykonos was carried out by the top British ITV television channel, from July 5 to 9, as part of a journey of familiarization organized by the EOT service. United Kingdom and Ireland with the aim of strengthening Greece and in particular Mykonos in the British market.

The internationally recognized ITV television station highlighted Mykonos through two of its popular shows, “This Morning” and “Loose Women”, which are broadcast daily in a prime -time zone throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. The broadcasts are mainly aimed at women aged 30+, decision makers with a high socio -economic profile and attract more than a million viewers daily.

This is a strategic television collaboration of the EOT in the United Kingdom, highly valued as it is estimated that the three-day live Mykonos coverage of 5-9/7/2025 attracted six million British viewers by reinforcing their desire to visit Greece.

TV shows have highlighted the natural beauty of Mykonos and sailing tourism, which offers special experiences on the numerous beaches of the island. Special mention was made of local gastronomy, high quality services and luxurious accommodation, enhancing the image of Mykonos as a leading luxury tourist destination worldwide.

The action is part of the broader design of the EOT. For targeted and sustainable tourism development, with an emphasis on attracting high -demand travelers, looking for destinations with strong identity, quality services, authentic experiences and premium hospitality. Mykonos, as said by EOT Secretary General Andreas Fiorentinos with its unique aesthetics, cosmopolitan aura and high -level tourist infrastructure, is indicated for the promotion of this strategy.
