Katy Perry has dinner with Justin Trudeau during a passage through Canada

Katy Perry was caught having dinner with Justin Trudeau at a sophisticated restaurant in Montreal, Canada, on Monday night (28). The singer, who is touring the country, and former Canadian prime minister have divided a meal at Le Violon, known for her refined gastronomy and reserved environment.

According to the US website TMZ, the two talked excitedly during the meeting, while enjoying a selection of dishes and drinks-between them, a lobster-based recipe. The chef of the house even personally went to the table to greet the guests, who, in turn, returned the kindness with a spontaneous visit to the kitchen, thanking the team for the service.

Sources heard from the site reported that Katy seemed quite involved in the conversation with Trudeau, while security guards discreetly monitored dinner from a point near the bar. The meeting was surrounded by care for their privacy.

Both are currently single. Katy Perry recently announced the end of her relationship with actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she was almost a decade. Justin Trudeau has separated from journalist Sophie Grégoire in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They are parents of three children: Xavier, 17; Ella-Grace, 16; and Hadrien, 11.

Dinner takes place while Katy fulfills concert schedule on Canadian soil. The artist’s last presentation in the country is scheduled for August 6 in Toronto.
