Mauricio Silveira is worse in the state of health, and family calls for blood donations

Actor Mauricio Silveira, 48, is in an induced coma to treat an infection after a tumor removal surgery, and his health condition has worsened in recent days. The family used social networks, on the night of Thursday (31), to ask for blood donations.

In a video posted on the artist’s Instagram, family members informed the necessary data for the donation, such as the place, the full name of Mauricio and the opening hours of the post. They also reinforced the requirements: “You have to be healthy, to be between 16 and 69 years old, weigh more than 50 kg, have slept well the night before and not to be fasting (avoid only fatty foods in the four hours before donation). Donors can request medical certificate to present at work,” says the publication.

Mauricio Silveira, who has acted in Globo soap operas such as “Cobras & Lizards” (2006), “Make Your History” (2008) and “Foolish Heart” (2011), as well as “Balacobaco” (2012) and “Reis” (2022), is hospitalized in serious condition, according to the Bulletin of the Communication Advisory of Lourenço Jorge Municipal Hospital, in Barra da Tijuca, released in Rio, Last Tuesday (29).

The news about the hospitalization came to light after actor Theo Becker, 48, reporting the friend’s first symptoms in a video posted on Instagram on Saturday (26). “He vomited, felt bad, went to the doctor, had an exam and discovered a cancer in the gut – too aggressive cancer. To the point that he was already hospitalized at the time of the doctors discovering and having to undergo surgery. I want to ask for prayers for this friend,” Becker said.
