Sharon Stone says he still earns more as a model than as an actress

One of the biggest cinema icons in the 1990s, Sharon Stone, 67, said he has always earned – and still earns – more money as a model than working as an actress. “I still get a lot of invitations to model, and this is my reality,” said writer Catherine Tramell’s interpreter of “Wild Instinct” (1992), director Paul Verhoeven. Stone recalled that his goal was to direct films when he began to walk his path in the arts in the 1970s, but found a barrier: the machismo of the industry. “At the time, I wanted to be a director, but the damn vagina hindered, because how could you have a brain and a vagina at the same time? Before debuting on the big screen with the movie “Memories” (1980), Sharon lived in New York and faced financial difficulties – to the point of going from roller to commitments because he had no money for transportation. Upon learning of a extras test in a Woody Allen movie, she decided to try her luck. He showed his model portfolio and got a spot like a girl who walked on a train.

This relationship with work and lack of recognition was not the only challenges faced by the actress. In 2024, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she said she lost all the money she had accumulated after suffering a stroke in 2001. “I had $ 18 million thanks to my success, but when I came back and saw my account, I had nothing.
