Almost two decades after winning a generation of teenagers, Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers shared the stage again. The reunion took place last Sunday (10), during the debut of the Jonas 20 – Greetings from Your HomeTown at Metlife Stadium in the United States, and drew screams and tears from the public to the sound of Camp Rock soundtrack, such as “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change to Thing.”

The partnership began in the mid -2000s, when Demi and brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas became Disney Channel stars. But it was on Camp Rock set in 2008 that artistic chemistry between Demi and Joe Jonas gained strength. In the feature film, they played Mitchie and Shane, a couple whose relationship in fiction reflected a true connection off the cameras.

In his documentary Simply Complicated, Demi even confessed that she fell in love with Joe during filming, especially in the scene where he sings Gotta Find You for his character. Shortly thereafter, in 2010, the two officialized the dating, which lasted only a few months, but ended in a friendly manner, with both stating that they would prioritize the friendship.
